I am a BSc (Hons) degree podiatrist with over 10 years of experience, working in the South Lincolnshire area.
Our feet do a lot of work for us. In an average day most of us will walk at least 5000 steps, some many more. Podiatry (originally known as chiropody in the UK) is the diagnosis and management of conditions affecting the feet, as well as providing advice for maintaining good foot health yourself. Podiatrists are degree educated professionals governed by the HCPC, or Health and Care Professions Council, and their professional body is the Society of Chiropodists and Podiatrists (SOCAP)
