I am a BSc (Hons) degree podiatrist with over 6 years of experience, working in the South Lincolnshire area.
Our feet do a lot of work for us. In an average day most of us will walk at least 5000 steps, some many more. Podiatry (originally known as chiropody in the UK) is the diagnosis and management of conditions affecting the feet, as well as providing advice for maintaining good foot health yourself. Podiatrists are degree educated professionals governed by the HCPC, or Health and Care Professions Council, and their professional body is the Society of Chiropodists and Podiatrists (SOCAP)
I am currently providing service on a domiciliary basis (in your own home). I cover a large area around Spalding, including Boston, Bourne, Stamford, Holbeach and south towards Long Sutton.
A note regarding the current COVID 19 situation. Podiatrists are, until further notice, classified as a key worker; this means that podiatry care is still available to patients requiring routine or urgent care, providing both the patient, and the practitioner are showing no symptoms at the time of an appointment. If you do require care but do show symptoms please get in touch and rebook your appointment at least two weeks later, and I as your Podiatrist will do the same to safeguard you.
